Kevin & Susan got Married last month at Glasgow University, followed by a reception in Edinburgh at The Balmoral hotel simply because it is their favourite hotel. I shot their pre shoot up Arthurs seat just a few weeks prior which keeps everything nice a fresh with the photographer and they were both really chilled and relaxed on the day in front of the camera. We also managed to get outside after the meal for about five minutes of amazing light topped off with a rainbow. Here is how their day went.

Alan & Susie got hitched at the stunning Mansfield Traquair. Susie got ready at The Witchery which made for some pretty dramatic bridal prep shots with their dark atmospheric bedrooms. My 2nd Shooter Carley got some great shots of Alan around Mansfield. It was snowing pretty hard by this point much to Susie's delight.

Last month I had the privilege of shooting an old shipmate's Wedding from my days as a cruise ship travelling photographer. Anne is originally from Glasgow but has spent her career travelling all over the world. She wanted an iconic Scottish wedding venue to show off Scotland to her overseas guests and John's family who are from down south. Edinburgh Castle and The Balmoral Hotel filled those ideals.

Simon & Claire got Married on the 3rd of October on a beautiful sunny Autumnal day in a Kirk of Calder in Claire's home town of Mid Calder. Then on to The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, stopping off for 15 minutes in some nice mews lanes around Carlton Hill.
